Task Widget: Task Statistics


You can display key task metrics on your homepage as a widget. The widget pulls information based on selected task filters, including the number of tasks or their aggregated values. This allows you to monitor task workload, progress, or financial aspects without navigating to the Task module and filtering data.

How to Install the Widget

  • The widget is installed on your homepage. To access the homepage, go to the Home tab and open Homepage.
  • To find the widget, click Add widget, and in the Task section, select Task Statistics.
  • Choose one of the available widget presets or select Custom Settings for a personalized widget.

Available Widget Presets

  • Tasks in Progress: Displays the number of tasks currently in progress.
  • Tasks Finished This Month: Shows completed tasks within the current month.
  • Total Overdue Tasks: Displays active overdue tasks.
  • Time Logged for Closed Tasks: Tracks the actual time spent on completed tasks.
  • Closed Tasks Revenue: Shows the total payment for completed tasks.

    Custom Settings

    If the available widget presets do not fully meet your requirements, you can create a custom widget to display specific task statistics.

    To adjust the settings, select Custom Settings when installing the widget.

    In the settings, you can configure the following parameters:

    • Widget Name: Specify a title for the widget (e.g., "Urgent Tasks," "Team Task Load").
    • What to Consider: Choose the task metric to display:
      • Total Tasks
      • Payout Amount
      • Payable to the Employee
      • Estimated Time
      • Logged Time
    • Highlight with Color: Enable color highlighting for the widget for visual emphasis.

    You can further add or remove filters as needed.

    Navigating to Task List

    Clicking on the Task Statistics widget on your homepage will open a side panel displaying a list of tasks. This task list will be pre-filtered based on the settings and filters configured for the widget.

    You can further refine or remove these pre-applied filters within the task list side panel to explore the data in more detail.
