How to Create a New Warehouse

When you enable Inventory Management in the module, a default warehouse will be automatically created. If you have multiple warehouses, you can enter each one into the system.

To create a new warehouse:

• Go to Products → References and click Create → Warehouse.

When creating a new warehouse, you can specify:

• Name
• Access type: Public or restricted.
  • If you select restricted access, you can choose a group of users or specific users who will have access to the warehouse.
• Activity
• Warehouse address
• Ordering
• Description

The list of all warehouses will be located under the "Warehouses" tab in the References section.

Pro Tip: The warehouse you create does not need to be a physical warehouse. You can specify the address of an object or project to track the amount of goods shipped there. For example, Warehouse 1 could be a warehouse with your goods, and Warehouse 2 could represent a construction project. You can then create a transfer between warehouses to track where the materials are currently located.
